Norwegian Hartela is a Finnish family-run business founded in 1942, specialising in the construction of homes, offices and industrial buildings. It employs approximately 600 industry professionals working on various construction sites.
Each property is a one-off project for which a dedicated organisation is set up, and resources are allocated to each site. The head office supports all site operations, from acquiring a plot of land through to design, sales and marketing.
In May 2022, Palette Software changed its name to Rillion.

A centralised service centre
Five years ago, Hartela centralised its administrative operations into a single service centre. It handles payment processing, accounts payable and receivable, and accounting. This ensures that all group companies operate in a consistent and uniform manner.
In 2019, Hartela looked for software that could automate its purchase-to-pay cycle. It chose Rillion because it offers full purchase-to-pay automation. It also provided Hartela with mobile solutions and real-time monitoring of each site, along with comprehensive reporting tools.

Smooth implementation
The implementation of the solution went surprisingly smoothly thanks to Rillion’s expert consultant and Hartela’s highly qualified accounts payable team. The application is easy to use and has made Hartela’s business processes more transparent.
