Greater efficiency at a lower cost
Encare provides evidence-based care pathways for enhanced recovery after surgery. Its software is based on protocols or checklists derived from scientific publications in the field of surgery, designed to understand the perioperative care process and how to apply best practice. Hospitals using the software can reduce the post-operative care period from 12 to 9 days for gastrointestinal surgery, thereby lowering costs by approximately 30% and significantly improving patients’ wellbeing.

The company gained access to procurement data which it was able to utilise. Straight-through processing of invoices for indirect materials was also made possible, and the expenses module gave employees greater visibility and the ability to approve expenses via mobile devices.
Instead of paper and other files going missing, documents could be accessed anywhere and at any time. Month-end accrual processes were reduced to just a few minutes rather than days, and Rillion gave controllers the ability to decide to exceed the budget, rather than having to explain why they had done so.
